Nice unit, bad win10S

Bought because none of the other units on display had functional touch screens. This unit reacted as I expected it to, actually worked. But beware, comes with win10 S, and it's encrypted (hard drive). So it says to backup your encryption key if you want a local user. Also you MUST register an email or phone with MS in order to register unit, then move (one time only) to win10 home through MS Store. I had to reset the win10 to erase my first failed attempt to set up the unit to my needs. Hey, and it still works! Great!

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14 model number 82HS007CUS. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.
