Discipleship is not easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it. Older Christians would be discipling new Christians and mature Believers would be investing their lives in those who are new to the faith. But that is not what is happening.
In fact, think about these two questions:
-Who discipled you?
-Who are you discipling?
If your answer to either of these questions is "no one," why is that? It is most likely because discipleship is a challenging process that takes time, effort, and patience.
Going to church and listening to sermons is easy, but discipleship is not.
