The DK2 Power 6 in. Chipper/Shredder with ELECTRIC start is powered by a 14 HP KOHLER Command PRO Commercial gas engine. Innovative 4 quad filtration and Cyclonic Chipper Shredder runs at a low 3600rpm. This chipper/shredder has a set of Dual, 13 inch high speed cutting blades and auto adjust cyclonic drum chamber. It pulverizes tree limbs up to 6.25 in diameter, as well as smaller brush and leaves. The heavy duty blades are double-edge cut, reversible and replaceable. Tool Free Dual Swing Chutes and dual lock clamps, quickly open for easy drum access. D.O.T. highway rated tires have a maximum towing speed of 25mph and a 48 inch extended axle for unlevel ground and towing stability. DK2P features feed chute dual handles for easy equipment moving. A quick drop stand for storing and a 2 in ball hitch and removable tow bar for portability. The Schedule 80 tool free chip chute directional pipe and cast iron hood, rotates 180 degrees and is pickup truck height (50) for direct chip bed loading. The KOHLER Command PRO commercial gas engine comes with a 3 year . Includes Built in steel toolbox, Lock out safety keys, safety glasses, ear protection, work gloves, oil bottle and assembly tools.

It simply works - Every time
Bought over 2 years ago. We use it regularly. Especially after Texas storms. If used correctly this chipper will out work the operator(s). Don't overfill. Hardwoods keep under 4" if fresh. Pines we have pushed the 6" a few times. Like with another review we hook it up to our ATV, Mule or Tractor, and throw a sheet over to lessen the clean up. Should have added the hour timer. Always clean out the chute after chipping for easier start up next time out. If you all could add a little engine so it could drive itself would be a great option. Nothing feels better than feeding vines into the chipper and let it just eat those right up. If you overfill, or don't pre prune some branches for easier feeding into the blade then one will struggle. Last thing - Ethanol free fuel for a clean start no matter how long machine has been sitting.

The hardest part of assembling was opening the crate went together nice and this thing is a absolute beast of of machine I was using this little 3 inch chipper until it literally broke in half I kept using then the wheel axle broke off! So I ordered this it is 6 times faster and the auto feed is priceless!

Awesome Machine
We bought this machine 2 months ago and it has not disappointed !! Plenty of power 💪 !! Great looking machine. The electric start is worth every penny. Only used it a few times so far but it makes quick work out a pile of branches and tree limbs. It's a relief to know we can cut down any tree in our tree line and make quick work out of reducing it to mulch. 👍
