If you want to keep your highlighted ‘hair glowing' longer, this product is for you. John Frieda also makes a shampoo for highlighted hair. Use both shampoo and conditioner for maximum results. Saves frequent trips to your hair salon cause you will be ‘highlighted' longer. Does not dry out your hair, leaves it amazingly soft, shiny and simply fabulous. Definitely worth it. It does lighten your hair

It works gradually, like being out in the sun. I never noticed the difference until a friend said something. If your fair skinned, you might notice some skin irritation when you first start using it. Make sure you rinse it out completely. Now that I've been using it for a while, I put it in my hair when I first get in the shower and leave it in as long as I'm in there.
