I am someone who likes to work in well lit areas specially in my kitchen as I cook everyday and my counter tops are most used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking to add some under cabinet lighting in our kitchen for a while now. I selected Black & Decker 2-Bar Battery Under Cabinet Lighting Kit and love the result. The light is a warm white glow that looks beautiful! Installation was simple. There are 2 installation options…you can screw the magnetic plate into the underside of your cabinet or use the adhesive strip that is provided on the plate. We chose to use the adhesive strip for now and it's working well. The feature that I love the most about these lights is the ‘Auto' option. When switched to Auto, the sensor will trigger the lights to turn on when you walk into the room. It's just perfect!! Unfortunately the ‘Auto' feature isn't working on one of the two bars in our kit. But overall, they're a quick, low cost solution if you're looking for under cabinet lighting or lighting anywhere really.
