Lg Lrfcs25d3 33" Wide 25.1 Cu. Ft. Energy Star Rated French Door Refrigerator - PrintProof

We have had our LG refrigerator (model# LRFCS25D3S) for 4 years. Recently, both the refrigerator and freezer quit working. I reached out to LG because the "sealed system" is still under warranty. I explained the situation in detail, and they promptly scheduled a technician for the next morning. The technician ran a few tests and confirmed it was a bad compressor. He then promptly got to work (flushed the system, installed a new compressor and drier, pressure tested, pulled a vacuum, and charged the new unit). I asked him if this was a common issue with my unit and he said it was not common but he had seen a few. He also mentioned the replacement compressor had been redesigned to fix an earlier design flaw. Based on the reviews I read, it made one believe that the compressor was going out in the majority of units (not the case). Rest assured, if yours goes out LG will make it right. Most importantly their technicians are highly qualified, professional, knowledgeable, and very efficient! This experience has made me a loyal LG customer.

bought this unit just under 3 years ago, and it started making very loud noises and stopped cooling..Technician replaced the compressor so that"s fixed but very loud noise like someone holding down a buzzer button.normal noise is ok but this loud buzzing that can be heard on the other side of the house at night. Is too loud when eating. Very irritating.have scheduled another tech appointment.
