Installation:
1.Location: The fuel filter/water separator housing is located. underneath the vehicle, on the inside left frame rail, just in front of the fuel tank.
2.Wipe the bottom of the fuel filter/water separator housing of any dirt or debris.
3.Drain fuel filter/water separator housing. To control spillage, place a catch basin underneath.
4.Loosen the filters use a 27mm socket.
5.Lubricate housing cap o-ring and the fuel filter’s end cap grommet with clean diesel fuel.
6.Install both new fuel filters,tightening filter and torque filter housing cap to 15 ft-lb (20Nm).
7.Wipe up any spilled fuel. Double-check housing cap drain plug and housing caps are tight.
