One of the reasons I bought this mat was because of its 14lb weight. Other brands I looked at were much lighter. It comes rolled up in the box and I had no problems with it laying flat. I am using it in an outdoor area and its weight leads me to believe I can expect it will stay in place, withstand the elements where I live , and will be easy to clean.

It seems to be a good quality. I just got it and put it on the porch. The home association replaced my porch with a composite porch that doesn't dry after rain! So due to ice build up, i had to get a non slip doormat. Hopefully it will last and be safe to use.
