Made a difference the first week
I have had one of these on my radar for a while. As we remodel our current home, the theme is rubbed bronze (black) fixtures. That means even the slightest amount of hardness will leave white stains on the new fixtures. It has been about a month now, and I can assure you, the white buildup is starting to clear itself away. It's nice to know that if I clean it off myself, it will not come back. I did the install myself, and routed it so outside faucets do not pass through the filters. FYI, our citys hardness was somewhere around 8, and it still stained the black fixtures.

Still early, but so far so good.
It was installed by the plumber last week and the water immediately lost the chlorine. I'm enjoying having water out of all my faucets now that is salt free and actually tasty. Still early to tell how it will fare over the long run, but I anticipate that it will function well based on my previous experience with APEC products (a subsidiary of Culligan I found out).

Fairly easy to install but I was hooking it up to replace an old salt system. The 2 systems did not match up well and I stretched a little on the pipes. 2 small drips. I got some more pipe and better fittings to fix the hookups. I tried to rush it and keep the water on as much as possible. Wife will be out of town in 2 weeks so I can take my time and do it right then. I will test the water after and see how it is doing!!!
