Decaf French Roast OneCUP™ Pods

I really like this coffee a lot! I have been buying it now for a few years. It has a bold rich taste, not weak like some other coffees, but not bitter either. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I'd say the the vast majority of the comments on the quality of this product are right on the money. This blend is much better than what I've become accustomed to in Decafs; so much so, in fact, that I think the taste of this blend rivals their French Roast caffeinated coffee. It is dark, bold, a bit nutty, and generally keeps the flavor of its caffeinated sister. It is a real treat among the decaf blends. The French Roast caffeinated coffee has one advantage when it comes to composting/recycling, however. When done with that pod, the paper top covering the pod is easily removed, leaving a plastic ring that can be recycled and a pod that is biodegradable. Not so with the decaf; I wish SF Bay would use the same method of adhering the cover to the ring as they do with the caffeinated. It requires more effort and is messier when disposing the pod components to the recycle and degradable bins. But, as a tasty coffee . . . it hits the mark.
