Dap 18806 Fire Stop Fire Rated Silicone Sealant, 10.1 Oz, Gray

DAP Fire Stop Fire-Rated Sealant is a single component, neutral cure, gun-grade silicone firestop sealant designed for sealing joints and penetrations in fire-rated assemblies. This elastomeric, high performance fire resistant sealant is capable of accommodating up to 25% joint movement, making it ideal for both horizontal and vertical fire separations. Tested for up to a four hour F-Rating at independent laboratories, DAP Fire Stop is approved for use in through penetrations and joint applications, including steel, copper, EMT pipe, fiberglass pipe insulation, cables, and construction joints in concrete, CMU, and gypsum wallboard assemblies. The 10.1 oz cartridge in limestone gray is easy to apply in temperatures above 40°F and meets ASTM E 814/UL 1479 and UL 2079 standards. This fireproof sealant is suitable for use as a fire stop caulk in commercial and residential settings, providing a reliable fire resistant seal. For best results, immediately clean up excess sealant and smears with Xylol or Toluol before curing. Do not use solvents to remove product from skin.
