This was a HUGE hit with our 5 year old grand-daughter! since it didnt come with instrutctions, I researched a bit online and was able to piece together this The plastic "debit card" has to be inserted for the door to open. the default passcode to open the door is 0000. the new passcode must be set when the door is open. Enter the new passcode, press *, then close the door. if the passcode is forgotten, remove and reinsert the batteries to reset it to the 0000 default and follow initial steps to re-enter a new passcode. Our 8 year old grand-daughter made a youtube video demonstrating how it works. It's titled Kids Facial Recognition ATM instructional video - by Blossom. If you watch it, be sure to click on Like and leave a comment. It was her 1st video and you can see the confidence of this normally shy young lady "blossom" as the video progresses! PS. the last photo is her response to my question about which part of it she liked the most: "All of it!".

Good for play and teaching about money

I like this toy because we can teach our grandson about money. I think by playing with him and teaching about the process of getting money out of the atm he will have a better grasp on how money works and how to get it out of the bank. The bank comes with little stickers for the atm card and for the bank face scanner. Be sure to put the sticker over the bright, flashing, red light. It's a cute little bank and it really takes your money. I recommend this toy.
