This hose reel replaced a unitwith 10 years of use which had fallen apart which is mounted on a backyard panel. This unit mounted on the existing panel. Pnel is mounted to two steel posts driven in th ground. Hopefully this hose reel will function well

Hose reel

So far so good but wonder if there's away to take the front piece of the wheel part off. It is very difficult to get your hands or a wrench in to tighten/loosen the hose. I think there must be away but is not mentioned in the instructions and I don't want to force it and risk breaking it.
