These look and smell cheap

These boots look and smell extremely cheap. The smell is unbearable (I've searched for ways to let cheap-smelling shoes air and after two weeks, they still reek). The soles and the overall material are quite thin, adding to the cheap look and feel. The shoelaces are also very ordinary. The boots were shipped inside a clear bag, not a shoebox, and the bag was placed inside a shipping bag — again, no box. I'm all for reducing shipping waste but not at the expense of leaving items that need to retain their form unprotected. I don't know how long these will last given how cheap they look, but that assumes I want to wear them, which I don't.
