Unfortunately I had to buy a new faucet to replace an older Moen faucet that did not work satisfactorily.

something is missing

Know way for deck plate to hold position, free to move around. Moen sent me a mounting kit to clamp the faucet to the SS sink with 3 screws. After six months the screws came loose. I removed the faucet and returned to Menards for a credit toward a Delta faucet. The quality was good but the engineering design was terrible.
