Allow your puppy to eat at will until fully weaned (6 - 8 weeks). After weaning, Pro Plan can be fed moistened or dry. For best results, develop a regular feeding schedule such as three small meals a day for younger puppies. You can gradually reduce to one feeding in the morning and one in the evening as your puppy ages. The routine should not vary. As puppies near adulthood, their calorie needs may drop, and your puppy may begin leaving some food in the bowl. Don't misinterpret this as an indication of dislike for the food. Instead, begin offering less so your puppy doesn't overeat and stays in ideal body condition. Nestlé Purina Research indicates that avoiding overfeeding of puppies may help their development. Great option for large breed puppies
Previously fed all my dogs pro plan years ago but then switched to other brands on breeder recommendations. My latest pup is however on this pro plan and since goldens are prone to skin allergies we've decided to avoid chicken containing foods and treats as much as possible. She's thriving on this food so at this point have no plans to switch to something else.

Best puppy food ever
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This food is wonderful for puppies. It's a balanced product, everything they need but easy on their stomachs and does wonders for their coat and skin!! I wouldn't feed my puppy anything else and will transition to the adult formula at 12 months! My puppy loves it!!

Excellent Quality Puppy Food
We recently adopted a 7 month old Boston Terrier puppy who was itchy and very naughty. We switched him immediately to Purina Pro Plan Puppy and he has stopped itching all together and he is so much better behaved. We use Purina Pro Plan for our other older dog and our cat. Huge fans of this brand
