Biddeford Red Buffalo Velour Sherpa Electric Blanket, 60 in x 50 in

This throw is awesome! It is so soft and lightweight, but very warm at the same time. The controls are easy to use, just witch it on and there are five selections from warm to pretty hot! I usually start it off on the #3 setting which keeps it warm but not too hot. Then when it warms us, I set it down to #1 just to maintain the temp. I honestly haven't tried the maximum setting yet as the middle setting gets plenty warm. It's plenty long for a throw (I'm 6' 2"and it covers up to my neck) but probably wouldn't work for on the bed (unless you have a tiny bed). My only minor complaint is the cord is very stiff and not too flexible.

This is my new favorite throw to curl up with every cool night, and any cool day, too! It really is soft and it does heat up quick, and cools off just as quick. I put it through the dryer on air dry to remove some of the fuzzies on it and it was good to go. It even smelled nice right out of the package! The wires can be felt through the material but not enough to make you hate it. The controller is so handy to have on my lap so I can change the heat setting or turn it off completely, although there's a little red light that will stay on until you unplug it, and if or when you do unplug it, it will reset the memory of your last heat setting. Reading the instructions, you'll find that you plug the throw in before you plug in into the electric socket and washing it and drying it only takes about 10 minutes. I haven't washed mine yet but I'll remember that information when I do. The size is perfect to cover yourself and once you get nicely warm and comfy, you won't want to get up. I didn't even want to get up to write this review. (kidding) But what a perfect Christmas gift for yourself or anyone, really. It would be great gift to give to someone elderly that gets cold rather easily. Did I say it's my new favorite blanket? I repeat myself but it's worth it.
