I bought this full size platform bed for my son, he previously had a traditional full size bed that was part of a bunk bed but he kept falling out of bed and worrying about ‘the scary things' under the bed. We love the fact that it is so low to the ground; this takes away our constant worry of him falling out of bed. Additionally, he no longer worries about things hiding under his bed because there isn't an under-the-bed to be afraid of! This bed is a perfect addition to my child's room. He loves hanging sheets over the room and making it into a fort during the day. Sometimes the bed becomes a pretend house because of its shape or even a store! He's constantly coming up with new ideas and new ways to play with his house bed. He was even able to use his constellation projector with a dark sheet and turn it into a conservatory!! Assembly was straight forward and easy to do on my own. The ease of making the bed day after day is great, and the ability to reach in from any side makes the bed very accessible when needed. The bed is sturdy enough to hold me and my son without any concerns of breaking, making it a nice addition to his room and our house. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone who is looking for a unique change in their child's space that can also double as an imaginative inspiration or if you had the same problems we had with under the bed scariness and constantly falling out of bed issues. This bed is PERFECT for a little girls room. We went with the white and as a mom I am so glad the bed is so close to the floor so my daughter can easily get off the bed if she needs to. Allows me to sleep soundly at night knowing she is safe! We went with the white color which goes perfectly with pink! I love the structure of the bed itself. We plan on hanging some drapes or fairy lights from the "house" part when we find the perfect ones to add a little customization and extra fun to the already awesome unique look of having a house over her bed. It is such a fun architectural detail to have! Set up was super simple, but required 2 people as the "house" part needed some extra hands to lift and hold as my husband was putting it together. Overall got it done in about an hour or so. I'd also recommend either unpacking the box in a separate room or clearing out the bedroom as much as possible before starting to assemble...makes for much less of a headache when trying to navigate these larger beams! We ended up going with the twin version of the bed, but can totally see ourselves upgrading to the full size as our daughter grows up! I also love that there is a neutral, brown, and grey version as well--will definetly consider for any future kids bed purchases down the road as we are so impressed and happy with our purchase!
