Works fine and worth the money
For the money this is a great skillet. I've bought at least 5 of these and have no complaints primarily because of the price. In the past I have owned similar skillets that cost 3-4 times more and frankly their non-stick feature did not last any longer than this item. I could never tell any difference with heat/cooking functionality. So I decided to use this item and replace it about once a year when the non-stick coating begins to wear out. I also like that you can order just the skillet without the lid.

The skillet was purchased to replace the one from the original set. These Gotham copper pots and pans heat up quick and I then put the hot pan under running water in the sink, it ruined the finish. The new one is wonderful again, I love cooking on these!

I am very happy with this frying pan. I cook breakfast about every day on it and I cook sausage or bacon and eggs and hashbrowns on a low heat and when I am done, I just rinse it with hot water and wipe it dry with a sheet or half sheet of paper towels and nothing sticks and it looks brand new. This is the second one I bought because people staying over at our house and cooked their crap on a high heet then used soap and a nylon scouring pad to clean their burn food off just ticking me off. The copper still shined, but the bottom was clearly burned, and no getting that black burned crap off. That pan was like knew for 2 years until other people used it. Now, this pan I hide when others come by, so I am the only one who uses it. Just take care of it and it will last you. If someone gets hold of this it might become a date line episode hehe
