Also you can use this filter set for the Winix air cleaner model 5500-2, but please note - carbon filter is different! Originally this model is equipped with pre-filter which is a honeycombed plastic frame filled with activated charcoal (Filter H), and our carbon filter might be used as an alternative.

The True HEPA Filter captures 99.97% of particles and impurities as small as 0.3 microns, including pollen, mold, dust, pet dander and hair, other allergens and cigarette smoke. The 4-pack Carbon Filters traps large particles, extending the life of the True HEPA filter and absorbs odor in the environment. You'll notice the difference immediately in the air of your home. Suitable for a family room or large bedroom.

It is recommended to change the True HEPA Filter once every 6-12 months (depending on use) and the Carbon Filter once every 3 months.
