Valspar Optimus Flat Tintable Pure White Tint Base Acrylic Latex Paint and Primer 1 gal. - Case Of: 4

I'm actually shocked at the poor reviews for this paint, I absolutely love it! I bought this paint to go over oil-base painted wainscoting in our dining room and hallway. I was skeptical at first, as it appeared after applying it didn't look like it was going to take. I was worried it would peel right off like the previous coat of latex/primer before it. I painted a second coat and started to feel much better. The 5 stars I'm giving this comes from an incident about 4 months after painting it. My 2 year old found an old rusty nail and decided to try and chisel a “drawing” into the newly painted wainscoting. I thought for sure I was going to have to get the sander and paint out again, but no I did not. Other than wiping a little rust dust off, there was not a single scratch on it. I am incredibly impressed with this paint. Definitely worth the almost $50 I spent on it.
