This is a high-quality auto-darkening welding helmet is a new type of personal protective equipment, an upgraded version of the traditional handheld welding helmet .
The handheld shield uses regular dark glass, unable to fully protect the eyes and skin from welding hazards. The auto-darkening welding helmet is made of high-strength flame-retardant materials, providing impact protection and blocking ultraviolet radiation; the lens filters out infrared and ultraviolet light, effectively protecting the eyes and face from harm.
Additionally, the handheld shield lacks auto-darkening functionality, requiring the welder to move the shield to observe the workpiece, risking eye injury.
The lens has an auto-darkening function. Before welding, the lens is transparent, allowing the operator to clearly observe the workpiece without removing the shield. At the moment the arc is struck (1/20,000 second), the lens instantly darkens to protect the eyes; when the arc disappears, the lens returns to a transparent state, enabling direct observation of the welding process. This auto-darkening feature prevents blind welding and the occurrence of arc eye, while also improving welding quality and work efficiency.The auto-darkening welding helmet overcomes these limitations due to its advanced design.
