Outstanding device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Outstanding, light, tough and powerful machine. There's a reason you can't just go down to your "out of the box" store and pick one of these up. This laptop is designed for those who want a powerful machine to use for years, not the fanciest laptop with features that will be out of date in a few months. Quick hint if you're debating specs like I was - go with the i5 processor, and 16 GB of RAM. The 11th gen i5 is plenty fast enough and the extra RAM will make your experience seem much smoother. Skip the touchscreen - definitely not needed. Features that set this laptop apart: - The screen is gorgeous and the non-touchscreen version is matte which makes the colors pop even more. - The "near sensing" radar built in is really unique. If I walk away from the laptop, the screen dims then goes off (but the computer stays on). When I walk up, the screen lights up and scans my face to automatically log me back in. No touching of the touchpad/keyboard necessary - The device is extremely light (think lighter than a bigger tablet) and the outside is really tough but feels great on the wrist/hands Now some tradeoffs: - The speakers aren't anything to write home about. They'll work fine - but definitely not on par with a larger laptop; - The "near sensing" tech plays havoc with Windows security settings, so you might have to tweak your Windows security to make it work without glitches. Overall - a great value and a long-term purchase.

Light but still packs a punch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nano is constantly surprising me with how light it is. It is the most portable laptop I've ever used, but the 16x10 aspect ratio still makes it easy to work on the 13 inch screen. It is able to display plenty of information and the trackpad and keyboard are incredible, making it incredible for any work on the go.

Awesome thing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing machine! It's small and light, but perfectly powerful and totally capable of all my computing needs. It reminds me of my old thinkpads which were just as excellent. Thanks for bringing this back!
