I bought this pot for the basket but it takes forever to boil and it doesn't whistle. It starts making a lot of rackety noise when I turn the heat on so you have no way of knowing when it's ready. Ten minutes I'm still waiting, I don't think I'm any better off than boiling water in a sauce pan.
