Not Quite the Perfect Fit

TO avoid painting the outer shell on the mirror, I used the mirror shell from the the original (broken) mirror. It did not quite fit the replacement mirror. Functionally the replacement mirror is fine, but had the other feature been a fit, installation would have been easier.
