The open carb spacers increase the plenum area under the carburetor. This increased plenum area improves the air/fuel distribution and has shown to be beneficial in high RPM applications. These spacers should be used as a tuning aid. The results will vary depending on the cam, head, manifolds, carb combination. 1/2" Thick open spacer for Holley 4150/4160.
