Michelin LTX tires are far superior in terms of appearance, quietness, and handling. However, the main reason I switched to Pirelli tires was that the Michelins would lose their balance and start vibrating noticeably in snowy conditions, as if they needed rebalancing. This problem would disappear once winter was over. The Pirelli Zero tires have the advantage of being about $100 cheaper per tire, but their noise level while driving and their grip on ice are not as good as the Michelins.

Excellent tires

These were original tires and lasted 60,000 miles. We did not rotate them or we would probably have gotten more mileage. We were very satisfied with their performance and decided to replace them with the exact size and brand of tires. Our SUV was a 2023 BMW X5. We would highly recommend them.
