Unfortunately, the trade off is that we have bugs and insects year round. While I do not mind them being in their natural habitat, I do not appreciate them invading my home space. Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer For Indoor & Perimeter keeps them out of my house, and I like the 32 fl. oz. concentrate which makes FOUR GALLONS. I simply follow the directions to mix into my Ortho container with sprayer, and it's ready to use. Having the concentrate, enables me to have it on hand without extra unnecessary packaging. I use this to spray inside and out my front and back doors, garage door, and windows every Spring, and in between as needed. It provides up to 12 months protection from common insects. When my cats brought fleas inside the house, I made the mistake of trying everything else suggested for flea extermination, and finally realized my mistake, and immediately used my Ortho Home Defense. It fixed the problem almost immediately, and they did not return. Tiny ants coming into the kitchen and bathroom have also been successfully stopped by using Ortho Home Defense. It is odor free, non-staining, and dries fast. I simply apply it when no humans or pets are going to be in the house for a while, and when we return there is no mess or anything to clean up. I highly recommend Ortho Home Defense, because it works!
