These smell wonderful, like cedar, which they are...that means they naturally will hold up outside. They come with a booklet about bluebirds you can attract to live in these little houses. I am excited to put them up! Spring is here! The birds are singing and making babies!! I'm going to order 2 more for my daughter in LA. If you love birds, get these for your yard. Nice and enduring!!! They look like redwood, which is a very nice look.
