Experimental investigations on Al-Cu composite metallic materials (Paperback)

This work is purely an innovative in nature; in pursuance of newer materials and characterization. The whole work is comprised of fabrication and characterization of these newer materials. Looking at the limitations associated with the metal matrix composites, Composite Metallic Materials are visualized and fabricated.The book focuses on importance of metal-metal composites, replacement of ceramic reinforcements with conventional metal reinforcements. Analysis has been with respect to their characterization, response to ageing, mechanical behaviour, wear and corrosion behaviour. This work is presented in seven chapters.
