Stop use and ask a doctor if pain, cough, or nasal congestion gets worse or lasts more than 7 days. Stop use and ask a doctor if nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occurs. Stop use if fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days, redness or swelling is present, new symptoms occur, or if cough comes back or occurs with rash or headache that lasts. These could be signs of a serious condition.

Dosage
Do not take more than directed. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 softgels with water every 4 hours. Children under 12 years: do not use.
Instructions
Swallow softgels whole; do not crush, chew, or dissolve. When using other Daytime or Nighttime products, carefully read each label to ensure correct dosing. Ask a doctor before use if you have liver disease, diabetes, heart disease, thyroid disease, high blood pressure, trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, or if you have a cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus). Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking the blood thinning drug warfarin. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use with any other drug containing Acetaminophen. Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug.

As good as VICKS for a 1/3rd of the price.
These equate soft gels are great. It says on the box to compare to Vicks and they are not lying. These do work just as well for more than 1/3 the price less. It is definitely a day time medicine, there is no sleepiness or being drowsy associated with it. It helps relieve that scratchy throat and cough and causes no heartburn. As for the Gut Flora, that I have no idea but I didn't get any diarrhea while taking it so it also didn't bother my stomach either. I also like that this is in a liquid cap form which makes it easy to swallow, and in my opinion I feel that because it's in this form it makes it work faster because its already being liquified.

Great Alternative to DayQuil at a fraction of the cost with all the same active ingredients. You can literally get twice as much (actually a little more) for less than half the price of the brand name. I always stick up in the winter when it's available in this size! You won't be disappointed; it works exactly the same and saves a lot of money
