Instructions
Directions: Protect eyes and skin (especially face and arms) using face shield, apron and rubber gloves while opening and pouring. To open, do not squeeze bottle. Place bottle on firm surface then carefully press down on safety cap while turning cap counterclockwise. Do Not Drop Bottle! Fixture Protection: Cover all metal, chrome, sink bottoms and any other sink or accessible plumbing fixtures that may be exposed to the Kleen Out with a thick coating of Vaseline to protect surfaces from the acid. Note: Spills and leaks should be neutralized before cleanup with baking soda. Neutralizing Solution: Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda with one quart of water. Keep baking soda in solution by stirring as needed. Disposal: Dispose of product and container, after rinsing, in a sanitary landfill or by incineration if allowed by Local, State and Federal regulations. Stay away from the smoke. Drains: ?? Cup Let stand 5 minutes. When drain clears, flush with water for 2 to 3 minutes. Grease Traps: 1qt. or more. Let stand 15 minutes. Repeat treatment periodically for control. Septic Tanks: 1 gal. per 500 gal. of capacity. Addition throughout drainage system.

This stuff is SERIOUS!!!
This product is very POWERFUL. It is real ACID. Handle with care. Do not allow children near it. Read directions and warnings carefully. It smokes when drizzled into a clogged drain. It is very effective (especially on hair). It was so scary, I immediately purchased another 5 bottles. Frankly, I'm surprised that such a product is available from Walmart. Definitely "old-timey" action. Get a supply for yourself before it is not longer available to the public. And, please read all warnings. Use common sense. Protect your skin. Do not apply to situations where eruptions could occur. Think about seals that could be damaged. It works!

I seem to have a glitch in my drainage. My shower plugs up a lot. It is on the second floor and the drain will freeze when its cold and I get slow drainage pretty often when it is warm. Only the shower nothing else so I guess there is a imperfection in the drain coming out of it. I have tried many kids of products to keep it flowing or in the winter just get through the ice. This stuff ate it up in no time. So my experience has been really good with it.

A Miracle for Me
I had been spending so much time and money trying to get my tub to drain. it got to the point that I was using a plunger and Drano after every shower, taking the shortest showers possible. I had skipped over this Kleen Out for weeks, assuming it was a “too good to be true” product. But i finally bought it in desperation: I used about 1/10th of a bottle, added hot water as recommended, and … it was fixed permanently! i have ,like, phantom worry that i need more drano and plungers after every shower, but its been weeks and i haven't had to since that one treatment. It's strong, so wear gloves and be aware, but it is a godsend.
