This desk is so great! I have never put together furniture, but I did not struggle! You need a screwdriver and drill and a little over an hour. Directions were plenty. It looks very nice too. I am very pleased!!

So after a few days of looking for a vanity type desk I came across this one on Amazon. But unfortunately it said it's not available anymore, so I searched up the store and found they had it on the Walmart site. I'm so glad I kept looking for it because it's beautiful! The end result is worth it! The outside of it is super glossy and clean. The legs are a brownish bronze type of color. Pretty nice color but it's definitely not gold if thats what you're interested in. I made my order on January 8 and my delivery was set for January 21. To my amazement it got here on January 14!! CA to TX. Delivery was super fast. It does come thru FedEx and unfortunately I knew there would be a chance of them mishandling it, and sure enough. The box has about 5 holes in it. Two of them manage to actually puncture thru but only one of them damaged the desk. I know it was FedEx because the condition of the desk is immaculate. And the holes match up to the dent on the desk. Thankfully though it's not noticeable from far. The actual packing of it was good, every inch of it has styrofoam and the four corners had a hard cardboard to protect the edges. And it has plenty of tape to keep it from opening. Nothing came loose or with room to move around. The height of the desk does seem shorter than others but it's not bad. You might although have to re think a chair with arms on it. I have a stool from ikea and it fits just fine. It took my husband an hour and 16 minutes to build it. He did mention to pay close attention in the very beginning because it gets a little confusing but if you take your time and look carefully you should be just fine. To the packing crew I would recommend labeling it fragile/or handle with care because having to return it for someone else's mishandling would be such a bummer for anyone! Especially for the price point. This is my first “vanity” ever and I'm in love! Should you get it? Totally!!
