Super slim profile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my low ceilings in my basement, offers a ton of light and is a major upgrade from your run of the mill flush mount. It looks like a large high hat with none of the complicating housing issues, offers a ton of pleasantly colored light (no garish blues here!)

Nice soft glow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hung this light yesterday. I've been switching out my barn lights this summer for LED lights. The lights turn on more reliably and are brighter. Most of them have a bright white light, but this surface mount light has a softer glow. I placed it over an internal door that has always been dark. It gives a nice light to the area from 12 ft. up, and it's a blush color to the light. More of a traditional color than white LED. I think it would be best suited for a living room or bathroom. This light has a heavy solid feel. It seems like something made well that is going to last. A lot of the LED stuff doesn't seem like quality materials. I think most anybody with a screw driver and common sense could hang this light.
