Perfect for the shower

We have been using this faucet for over six months now, and it's perfect for our shower. We love the different features and beautiful finish options. It's easy to install, keep clean, and has that great temp assure option that makes me feel safe with our kids. Our shower feels like a spa. We also love that it uses less water. We install Delta in all our client homes as well, and everyone is so happy with the beautiful results!

Poorly designed

The temperature knob cover is made of plastic; definitely not durable. In use every time you shower, it is designed to fail. 10 year warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear! At less than 4 years, the plastic cover came off and broke on re-installation. I like Delta products, but I will choose another manufacturer as long as they use plastic on everyday use elements of their products.

Both shower head and cartridge failed

We have had this for around five years. The shower head began to leak from the top the 1st year and didn't realize how bad until the cartridge just failed and now it leaks on top and cannot be turned off completely and leaks from the spray side too; unable to find cartridge replacement locally (not available at Home Depot, etc.). Our licensed plumber who did the original install and the repairs says the head is clearly a defective design and the cartridge should up not have failed this early. Could not get thru to Delta by phone, sent email, no response.
