The dress is light and swingy. It is pajama-level comfortable and feels like it will be cool in the summer. It is VERY long. I am a little over 5'7" and it hits just above my feet. Im thrilled with the length because too many maxi dresses are lower-calf on me, but I realize this isnt the case for everyone so be advised. I bought a 3x and its true to size and I am really happy.
