beautiful product and great for multiple uses! the drawer is on Seperate wheels and can be moved away for items that may not fitwoth the drawer in use. you can use the stand with or without the wheels but the drawer had to have them or you could scratch your flooring. it's a very spacious drawer and space to stack things. might I suggest you have a strap to make sure the appliance is on there good especially if your gonna have the whole thing with wheels and be moving it periodically for cleaning etc. it is gorgeous and I would use it for a side table too
