I wanted a WHITE Refrigerator, no stainless steel!
We have been GE refrigerator customers off and on since 1966. 4 years ago, we bought a GE Garage Refrigerator, which we really like. It performs great in the heat of the Garage! So when our in-house refrigerator recently 5 gave up the ghost, we went on the hunt for a nice white GE Refrigerator/Freezer, and found this model GFE26JGMYFWW. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Full sized appliance with classic simplicity
My husband and I are entering our seventies and no longer have children in our home. Even though we live in a rural area, keeping our food supply maintained for two people can be trying. The capacity is great for a smaller household, full size refrigerator, plenty of drawers and the bottom freezer keeps all items frozen as long as you need it to with plenty of storage. I have had no issue with the reliability of this appliance. It's also beautiful due to its sleek design and attention to finishing. It has classic appeal and completely simple to operate and clean.

More room than old (whirlpool) refrigerator! Love the French doors! And the freezer on the bottom! I also have GE microwave and oven. Very dependable and good quality. Would definitely recommend!
