Swanson Brown Seaweed Sodium Alginate with Cilantro Leaf 60 Veg Caps

Why do you buy and use Sodium Alginate? I buy and use Sodium Alginate for detoxification of heavy metals and toxic elements, such as lead, aluminum, mercury, cadmium, and fluoride. Have you seen the very high priced heavy-metal-detox product advertised all over the place a lot lately? It contains pectin and alginate. It probably works well. They probably sell a lot of it. For me. . . . I like to eat Organic Apples. I always have one regular size, or preferably two small organic apples daily. I have been aware of Apple Pectin's fat emulsifying and also detoxifying properties for quite a while, really at least back to the 1970s. The greatest concentration of the detoxifying pectin is in the peel, so that is why I go for two of the 2" diameter apples rather than one large apple - - - to get a higher proportion of pectin by eating a greater amount of the peel in proportion to the overall weight/volume of apple I consume. Alginate is the other detoxifying ingredient in that expensive heavy-metal-detox product that is being heavily promoted. Well, low and behold, here is Sodium Alginate from Brown Seaweed under the Swanson brand at a reasonable price. I’ve read a lot of good things about Brown Seaweed, and I’ve seemingly always known what a good purification magnate and sponge Alginate is. So, being a good scientist, I put together my own combination of Pectin and Alginate by eating my 1 or 2 apples, and at the same time, taking 3 or 4 of these Sodium Alginate capsules. I accompany this snack with a couple of glasses of pure water to give the Alginate and Pectin plenty of liquid in which to expand. This ’snack’ is not only detoxifying, but very filling / satisfying. It fills you right up. Think about the added value of that. Sure, I know that the pectin touted in the expensive detox product is a citrus pectin rather than an apple pectin, and the citrus pectin is allegedly milled down to a super fine state. I’m not going to be eating citrus peels to get my pectin. One can buy citrus pectin, and I’m sure it is good. The citrus pectin people claim it is the best. Okay, whatever. However, I’m an old Apple Pectin guy, based on over four decades of successful experience and results. So, all things considered, weighed, and analyzed by me, I prefer to go with my Apple + Alginate combo. Works for me.
