I couldn't afford a really expensive Catio. I live in an RV park so putting up permanent fixtures on a trailer that I'm renting is a no-go! This kitty playground is perfect for where I live. I installed part of it under the hitch of the 5th wheel so my kitties have shade and sun to lounge in. The three tubes and smaller cubes extend out from underneath the RV and onto the grass. My Kitty Zeus grew up going in and out of the house because we lived in a rural area with a small neighborhood surrounded by pastures and fields. Miep, my shelter kitty has never been outside in the 18 months I've had her because we were living in an apartment complex and then a motel. She was very cautious about everything today. Zeus wanted out at first but then relaxed after 30 minutes. I am cautiously optimistic about their beginning to relax and start playing in their new kitty enclosure. I have a catnip infused scratching post with balls and feathers coming in 2 days. I also have an extra litterbox and water bowl to add once they are acclimated to being outside. Everything arrived promptly. Putting it together was a matter of zipping all the parts together and reinforcing the zippers by tying them shut to prevent from unzipped. The only difficult part was anchoring the bottom loops to the ground with the enclosed stakes. The ground was rocky in areas and hammering them in completely was painful on my 61 year old failing back and hips🥴 After day 1, I would recommend this item to anyone concerned about their cats safety while outdoors. I don't plan on completely leaving them alone all of the time until they are comfortable with this New PlaySpace. That makes me feel comfortable 🥰
