I purchased this doll for a Christmas present for my granddaughter who is crazy for anything Mermaid! What she really loved about this doll is she can have it in the bath to play with! Other items that require batteries are not allowed in the water because in the past they will no longer work after becoming wet! However, this item lights up and sings while in the bath and still works after being wet!

The product was good, except our Jasmine sings in Italian. It didn't say that when I was purchasing it and I certainly did not expect an Italian Jasmine. It would have been nice if it sang in English as I expected, but my daughter doesn't seem to mind it.
