This is a great scope for use with small caliber rifles shooting at range within 400yard range. Also great for use with PCP air rifles for precision target shooting and hunting. Circle X reticle has fine lines and is quick to center on target. Premium multi-coated optics is bright and clear. Eye relief is fairly consistent as magnification power is zoomed. Heavy duty body built with extra material and is nitrogen purged and sealed to be waterproof, fog-proof and shockproof. Attractive styling with small rubber inlays on gripping areas to help precise adjustment of magnification and parallax. AO and Zoom power ring also have high torque to stay at desired setting

Be cautious of the reticle picture.
I've owned hammers scopes in the past and I really really like them. They seem to be very quality scopes for the price. Overall I would recommend them. However, advertising can be very misleading. When you look at the picture of the reticle in the scope description, you expect to see the very same thing when you look through the scope. My issue was the picture showed a nice large beefy reticle with sub tension lines at large measurements in between which is what I needed. However when I got the scope I realized the picture of the reticle had been enlarged. This was grossly misleading. The reticle was actually very small and would not work for my application. so I returned it. If they post pictures like this they should annotate "enlarged to show detail". So buyer beware.
