Product details
The McKesson Barrier Island Dressing effectively helps protect wounds from water and debris. The dressing features a non-adherent gauze pad for absorbing wound exudate. The film adhesive around the pad serves as a barrier to keep out moisture and particles that otherwise might infect the wound or disrupt the healing process. The durable pad is made of thin rayon and polypropylene to help avoid ingress. Being highly water resistant, the dressing stays on and continues to help protect the wound in the bathtub or shower. The island dressing comes sterilized inside its packaging so it stays clean until opened and used.
