KODAK PIXPRO AZ528 Astro Zoom BSI-CMOS Bridge Digital Camera - 16MP 52X 1080p Wi-Fi (Midnight Blue)

The Kodak PixPro camera is a pretty decent camera - especially for beginners and amateurs. I had a point and shoot Olympus camera as my first camera and it has done the job I needed for many, many years. I had the opportunity to get this camera, and I hopped on the valued pricing. This camera is top of the line of this brand, and it certainly has a lot of bells and whistles to learn. It has features like Auto, Manual, Portrait, and more - and also has a great zoom, WIFI connection, 24mm wide angle lens, and you can also use any brand 52mm filters to enhance your photography. In the box, you get the camera, the camera lens cap, a LI-ion rechargeable battery, USB cord, quick start guide and warranty card. Not bad for the price! Here's my pros and cons! Pros: It has some nifty features that you may not find on other cameras, like a great video camera, panorama feature, filters, wide angle lens, and a great zoom. Other features such as shooting modes like P,S,A,M - detection features, scene modes, photo touch up, HDR and more - all within your reach. There are endless possibilities to take the best shot you can get. The camera is a beautiful shade of dark blue, and has a nice display screen on the back to see everything you need. I like that it has the WIFI-connection to easily go from my camera to my computer and phone - and that program is super easy to operate. Cons: I'm used to my old point and shoot's zooming feature - that when I zoomed in as far as I could go, it went above and beyond. For example: I took photos of the moon with the Olympus and it zoomed right up to it. This Kodak gets fairly close, but I haven't gotten it to really zoom in well. Not sure exactly why - but it's kind of a let down for me. Second - there's only a quick guide to get you started on working your camera. It wasn't enough for me - so I had to physically search on the internet for the actual online BOOK of directions for this camera. The online book tells you much in detail, which is more than I can say for a little quick guide. And lastly - many people have complained about this little tiny mishap - this camera does not come with a micro SD card, which most people complained that it should have, and they had to buy one. In my case, it was a touch of a let down, but not a disaster as I have several micro SD cards at my disposal. And I also have extra LI-ion batteries (rechargeable) as well. Overall, its a fairly decent camera - I'm still learning all the different ways. When I feel that I have fully learned everything there is about this camera, I shall come back and update! For this price, it's well worth getting. Is it a Canon or a Nikon? Certainly not. But it's great to start with. In my photo of the camera - I have bought a separate shoulder strap to carry the camera around. It does NOT come with the camera. I have been a photographer for about 15 years now, always advancing my skills, learning as I go.
