GREAT replacement for existing surround!!!

I bought this unit for my mom's freestanding fireplace surround. Her original stopped working and the supplier no longer carried it's replacement. My online chat person was super helpful, we made sure measurements were correct and it was delivered in under a week! This replacement looks better than the original, is SUPER toasty, quiet and was a breeze to put in. Thank you!!!

Very nice unit!

So far, so good. I just received it and installed it in the opening from the original. It fit perfectly except I had to do a little work on the mantle due to the fact that the front glass has to go above the fireplace to hook it on, then it slides down to make a perfect fit. The one thing I wish it had would be a variable fan speed. If it has one, I haven't found it yet.

I would buy this unit again

I replaced my 10 year old dimplex heater with this one and it was an exact fit. Very nice flame, very quiet fan, love the remote. I use this unit in my rv. I am a full time rv guy. It supplements my furnace heat on very cold windy days. And only need this unit to heat my 35 ft rv when its 45 or above outside. Much quieter then running the furnace.
