this stuff works great and lasts a long time for semi permanent. if you don't want to bleach your hair out this will definitely still give you that bright vibrant color you are looking for. the problem is it's a mess like old manic panic it is hard to get out of your countertops, floors or whatever it touches. be careful before you start set up protective gear like gloves and towel you hate. have fun with your new hair color

I've been using this brand for years. I have locs and was the first semi-permanent I was introduced to. You must lift your original hair color, of course, and then apply this color. Word of caution: Red dyes especially semi-perm bleed really bad. Wish I knew before I dyed my hair red. But I've been a redhead for 13 years now, so I'm used to it. Make sure your purchase a color sealant like Color Solutions Ion After Color Sealer. For locs, I recommend two bottles.
