run extremely small, arrived ripped

These run extremely small compared to the tights. L/XL tights fit to size and are roomy and comfortable, while the L/XL for these leggings are so small that I could not get them past my knees. Size up, unless you are a size large, then pass on these. They won't fit. I am 5'5, 170 for reference, and wear a size 14 currently. These would have fit me when I was a size 6 and are comparable with the jeans I have from before I was pregnant. Even then, there is not much flexibility in the waistband. Too bad because they are so cute!
