DecMode 35" x 70" Light Brown Wooden Geometric Bookcase 4-Tier Shelving Unit with Black Tapered Legs, 1-Piece

This was on sale for $270 and that's about all it's worth. Overall I like it for the price. I like that it's real wood and no particle board or MDF.... BUT it is a low quality piece of furniture. It's made from what looks like 3/8" plywood (cheap plywood I might add). I like the knots in the wood, but I don't like that there are several places where they used some type of filler to fill in holes, and several of these holes are over an inch in size, one hole that they filled in is almost 3 inches long, and it's right on the top of the cabinet. The doors open and close nicely, but the drawers are cheaply put together and you need to push on both knobs to get them to close evenly, otherwise they bind up and won't go in. The middle drawer won't even go all the way in. I was wanting something that had the modern mid-century look but kind of rustic, and this piece is definitely rustic (more so than the photos show due to the hole filling). The color is true to the photos, natural wood with a thin coat of clear poly. The packaging was very good, it came in a box with plenty of packing material, and that box was inside of another box, so it had very good protection during shipping. The piece is not very heavy (since it's made from thin cheap plywood) and so that's probably why Walmart was able to ship it via FedEx Ground instead of freight, and it was delivered in just a few days. If it weren't for the ugly filling of the numerous holes (especially that big one on top), and the drawers being a bit of a PIA to close, I'd give it 5 stars. But it is real wood for a low price, so there ya are. Would I buy it again? Yeah, I'd buy I'd again..... but I wouldn't pay more than $270 for it.
