In 1873 I received information of some of the descendants of some of the brothers of the said Patriarch, and also of other branches of Ponds, and of the publication of the Genealogy of Daniel Pond, of Dedham, Mass, and of his descendants, which stimulated me to further efforts, and the result is, a large amount of information, which, however imperfect it may be, I feel it ought to be put it book form and spread before all the Pond descendants for their information also.
