GREAT EXPECTATIONS [ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK]

Great Expectations is accompanied by a soundtrack that contains all-new material from a number of today"s hottest artists. Among them are Tori Amos (who, paired with two-time Academy Award and Golden Globe nominated film composer Patrick Doyle, also contributed vocals to the film's quirky and evocative score), Pulp, Scott Weiland, Duncan Sheik (who offers the collection's first single, the smooth pop tones of "Wishful Thinking"), Cesaria Evora, the Verve Pipe, Poe, Reef, Mono, David Garza, and, with his debut post-Soundgarden solo material, Chris Cornell. A number of these artist co-wrote their tracks with Doyle.

With such a soundtrack, Great Expectations is sure to appeal to those who fell in love with last year's smash reworking of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, which similarly boasted a hit-packed and cutting edge soundtrack collection.
